Angulo Arquitectura took on the project with a clear premise from the outset: to preserve the virtues of the original design and enhance them. The intervention encompassed the façade, the interior spaces, and the surrounding landscape, creating a new identity that maintains its essence. The result is a contemporary, warm home deeply connected to its physical and emotional context.
One of the most distinctive elements is the new cement-wood skin, which provides texture, depth, and a unique personality. This finish strikes a balance between the industrial and the natural, generating a sober, sophisticated, and timeless aesthetic. The openings in the façade were redesigned to gain prominence: deep windows frame the landscape like living paintings, turning each view into a postcard that changes with the seasons.
Landscaping plays a fundamental role in the project. The vegetation has been carefully selected to complement the architecture without competing with it. A limited palette of materials has been used, allowing for visual harmony between the home and the plot. The garden is not a decorative addition, but a living extension of the architectural design: it accompanies, enhances, and connects the house with its natural surroundings.
Furthermore, special attention has been paid to natural light, which bathes the interior spaces and enhances the feeling of spaciousness and serenity. The interior layout promotes fluidity, with open areas that allow for dynamic and flexible living. Every detail, from the materials to the orientation of the spaces, has been carefully considered to offer comfort, beauty, and functionality.
