Adaptation of an Industrial Building for Flexible Storage
The work is concentrated in the north wing of the building and occupies only the ground floor. Through a new interior layout, the space is divided into different storage and operational sectors, creating an open-plan area of approximately 1,500 m² dedicated to storage units and easily accessible interior walkways.
The new layout has improved the overall functionality of the building and facilitates both operational management and the customer experience, maintaining clear and efficient circulation within the building. The project has also incorporated a comprehensive upgrade of the fire protection systems in accordance with the Fire Safety Regulations for Industrial Establishments (RSCIEI in spanish), integrating the new compartmentalizations within a safe environment adapted to current regulations.
New Access Points and Improved Logistics Operations
Outside, the loading and unloading area has been reorganized with new pedestrian and vehicular access points. The expansion of the western access allows direct vehicle entry into the warehouse, optimizing traffic flow and streamlining logistics operations.
The building access system uses personalized credentials and automated systems connected to the central alarm system. Furthermore, an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) ensures continuous operation even in emergency situations.
The project is completed with 68 outdoor parking spaces and six indoor loading and unloading bays, enhancing the overall operational efficiency and flexibility.
